Presented in good harsh coat giving a natural appearance, he has a lovely head with clearly defined stop, square muzzle and strong underjaw, large oval eyes giving such a kind expression! Long strong neck running into well laid shoulders, deep chest with good fore chest and well carried back ribs, level topline with great tailset, strong hindquarters which he uses so well! 'I have always enjoyed judging this breed as it has quality and good movement in reasonable numbers, but this individual took my breath away. He is exceptional and outstanding, elegant balance and movement, correct head proportions with well set ear and good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm, good depth and filled in front, correct length and level topline, good hind angulation and perfect balance, great mover with drive and precision covering lots of ground, outstanding. 'Not yet 4yrs old, he is the epitome of the breed standard, presenting a striking picture in the ring. It was a pleasure to go over him. Pleasing masculine head, dark oval eye, good earset and fold of leather, long neck leading into strong, firm topline. Tight elbows and good shoulder placement. Well ribbed and sound all over. Being well constructed and cleanly made with correct proportions and angulation, coupled with good muscle tone and powerful, flowing movement, he conveys the very essence of a PBGV. 'Top quality boy who was a pleasure to go over. He scores for type and presents the most beautifully balanced outline. Strong neck of good length, firm level topline, chest of good depth with prominent sternum, ribcage extends well back, short muscular loin, good width to croup and tail of correct length, set and carriage. Attractive head and expression, oval-shaped eyes, ears of correct set, strong underjaw and excellent pigmentation. First class construction with well laid shoulders, elbows held close to the body, straight, well boned forelegs and firm, strong hindquarters with good turn of stifle and well let down hocks. Comes into his own on the move, moving freely all through and is quite something to behold on the go around, driving well from the rear and making the most of himself as he goes. 'I gave this exhibit the Group in Belfast in 2017 as a juvenile; I predicted a bright future then. Well he has not let me down. His record speaks for itself. However recently he has had some knock backs but not today! He now has matured up into a fine example of the breed and I have never seen him looking better. Quality from head to toe; so pleasing to go over on the table, everything fits! What lifts him above the rest is his willingness to please his handler he gives 100% at all times. Such a character on the move, effortless forward reach and superb rear drive. Outline on the go around is breath taking. All this with superb coat presentation and a joy to watch the harmony with dog and handler. Congratulations to all concerned! Pleased to hear he went on to Reserve Best in Show the next day under BIS Judge Mr Mark James; nice one “Mickey”!'
